Former permanent secretary in the ministry of Agriculture and ruler development and leading Governorship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr Ernest Afolabi Umakhihe, has garnered cheers and jubilation as he submits his expression of interest and nomination forms for governor.
Accompanied by his beloved wife, influential leaders, and ardent supporters, Dr Umakhihe handed in the forms at the APC national Secretariat in Abuja.
The prestigious N50 million forms was procured for the former permanent secretary by a group known as Edo Unity League a few weeks ago.
Speaking, Dr Umakhihe confidently asserted that he is well prepared, experienced, and possesses the capacity to transform Edo state if given the APC ticket.
